Because even though my kids are super old now ( 20, 17, and 12) the leprechauns still come.

 

Because it's fun.

 

and fun is important.

 

This was the first time I tried out two recipes for the Lucky Charm's cereal (labeled gluten free! score!) --

 

the cookies came out BEAUTIFULLY (essentially I made sugar cookies with 2 cups of the cereal, divided. I ground up the cereal and stirred it into the sugar cookie dough and then pressed the marshmallows into the top)

 

but the Marshmallow Cereal Bars were a disaster. 

They taste good, but we should have lined the dish with parchment paper and used more cereal and less marshmallows.

 

The result is pretty much Lucky Charm's Concrete ----

it however may be just what we need to fix the brick wall in the backyard.....
