The week started off with Crazy Hair day at work. I am now thinking that at some point in my life I really should rock bright pink hair "for reals..."

We had a lot of soccer this week with my youngest. A LOT OF SOCCER.

 

And even when you really love playing soccer and want to play all of the time and bounce-kick the ball incessantly in the house in this super cool way even though your mom says it's not safe because you broke a picture frame last week and you sleep with a soccer ball in your bed sometimes it seems like too much.

 

but you still go. because you said you would. and your team is expecting you.

And it is PROM season (for kid #2). So there has been a lot of dress shopping.

 

and then a lot of dress returning.

 

and evidently PROMposals is a thing that really happens and not just something that occurs on Pinterest.

I am now the super proud owner of a college graduate.

My eldest and Lucy the bunny are home --

and so so proud. They both worked really hard.

My talk for the Mountain Top Summit went really well -- I got to wear a "Beyonce Microphone" and all of the tech worked properly.

Thank you for all of you who were able to come and participate live, and thank you to all who have tuned in to watch the recording. It was a really fun event for me to speak at, and I hope to do more in the future.

 

It's fun to talk about things that aren't all Pot Roast once in a while! ;-)

Because it was a rather busy week, dinner was as quick and easy as possible.

 

I only cooked 3 times and then we spread the leftovers out by spooning on top or rice and/or baked potatoes:

we ordered sushi on Friday. :-)
