Hello there, Slow Cookerers! I hope all is well with you and the first quarter of the year went by smoothly.

How are you doing with your New Year's Resolutions? Is there anything I can do to help you?

Today is April Fool's Day and chances are that means that we won't really be playing any pranks in our family but I wanted to rerun this newsletter that was sent out last year in honor of this truly bizarre holiday.

I suppose I could look up the history of April Fool's Day -- but right now I'm typing at 5:23 in the morning and am not fully caffeinated so I'm just going to leave it up to you to do research and write back to me.

I get asked sometimes (mostly by reporters) if there is anything I CAN'T make in the crockpot slow cooker.

YES!

absolutely!!

there are some things that are just TERRIBLE ideas that I've tried to make in the crockpot.

But I tried them anyway.
