The 18th episode of the Slow Living podcast is all about how to make some easy modifications to your nightly routine so you can get the sleep and rest you crave and deserve.
I love sleep. Because I wake up so early, on the weekends I often take really long naps and on a weeknight I go to bed quite early -- around 8pm many nights.
it took a lot of trial-and-erroring, but I now am in a routine where I regularly get 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
and it's lovely. I highly recommend sleep.
In this episode I also share that I suffered from undiagnosed Sleep Apnea for most of my life.
If you would like to take a listen, you can do so in your favorite podcast app (search Slow Living) or online, here.
My sister-in-law texted me after this episode dropped and said that while she was listening she felt triggered because she has little kids in the house -- but at the very end I do talk about how to get sleep when you are in charge of raising other humans who do NOT want to sleep for super long stretches of time.
I get it. I promise that the kids grow up and eventually turn into teenagers who will then tuck YOU in!
