Hi !!
Happy Sunday :-)
I hope you’ve had some time this month to pause and savor the slower moments.
Before you know it, the season will start to shift from the HOT hot summer weather to all of the colorful transformations of autumn.
And when the temperature starts to cool down…
And the blankets and jackets get pulled out from the back of your spare closet…
And the slow cooker
finds its permanent spot on the counter once again…
;-)
I know that you can’t help but want to Slow Down.
Over the years, I’ve found that the fall season is a natural time of the year to let go of what is no longer serving you.
To take the time to figure out what has been draining you, and realign with who (or what) gives you energy and fills your cup.
If you want to do a little self reflection on this Slow Sunday, here are some great Qs to ask so you can take an inventory of your life:
- What do you want to spend more time doing and who do you want to start spending more time with?
- Are you finding ways to move your body that leave you feeling confident, empowered, and motivated to continue showing up for yourself?
- How are you nourishing your body? Are your meals super quick, haphazard, and on-the-go, or full of processed
foods that bog you down? How do you feel after eating?
Just taking the time to
reflect and start a practice of turning inward, with curiosity and without judgment, can signal your mind and body to Slow Down.
In fact, , Slowing Down doesn’t require a ten-step morning routine or a two-hour block of time.
As you hold space for yourself, flip the script from “I NEED to”, “I HAVE to”, or “I SHOULD…”
to
“I WANT to” and “I GET to.”
And when you do, you’ll give
yourself permission to be more present in your life.
To start to curate days that are filled with more people and experiences that bring you joy.
It really is possible for you, .
And how I want to know: What are some things that you WANT to spend more time doing?
Hit reply to this email and share your answers with me. I’d love to hear what you’re excited about and how you’re ready to show up.
Until next week!
Consider yourself loved and hugged. I think you are wonderful.
