Happy Sunday, !!
Does your life ever feel like “death by check box” and like you’ll never power through that ever-growing to-do list?
I’ve been there, and let me tell you, it’s not a very fun place to be.
Especially when you feel like you can’t get to the BIG things you really want—that new couch from Pottery Barn, the smaller jean size, the potty-trained golden retriever, the early retirement—if you don’t check
all of the boxes off on your to-do list today.
In my experience, the to-do list is an illusion and a never-ending cycle.
I mean…you could check everything off of the list, grab a brand new piece of paper tomorrow, and have another page of tasks you have to cross off.
That totally stinks,, because you’ll never feel very free or at peace if *that’s* the way you spend your days.
Blink, and another ten years of to-do lists will have slipped through your fingers.
This is why I believe in Slow Living so much.
It’s the belief that you can take a look at the Big Picture to influence where your Real Priorities are.
It’s the inner knowing that you can drop the guilt if you don’t get everything done from your to-do list, and it was still a pretty damn good day.
In fact, it’s that feeling when maybe, your list of completed tasks at the end of the day looks a bit more like this:
- I went for a run and I only walked once
- I made my daughter’s favorite meal and didn’t burn it
- I started the laundry, but didn’t get to the whites
- I sat on the porch and drank a glass of wine with my husband
If you need more help getting clear on what YOUR idea of slow living looks like, , I
have a spot for one-on-one coaching with your name on it.
Together, we’ll help you define what “having it all” really looks like, so you can finally experience true joy and inner peace. Click here to learn more.
