Hello there, Slow Cookerers!!

We are in the final stages of the summer time and I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get a teensy bit antsy about fall.

Fall is PRIME crockpot season -- and along with long sleeve shirts, puffy vests, and boots you can count on TONS of comfort food like stew, chili, and potroast.

But for the time being, we'll stick with a bit more of the lighter fare ---

When does school start up again for you? This school year I will have a seventh grader, a freshman in college, and a college graduate.

GULP.

I'm not understanding how the kids keep getting older each year, considering I've been stuck at 27 for well over a decade...?

hmmmm.

If you need help with meal planning -- the crockpot really is the best way to get dinner on the table with very little stress.

Dinner doesn't need to be a kumbaya at all times kind of thing ---

I'm a realist.

and in our house because of different work and class and sports schedules we don't eat together all that often.

AND THAT IS OKAY!!

This is real life.

But the food is hot and ready at about 4:30- 5pm, so when the kids are home and are hungry, they can help themselves.
