Hello there, and Happy Sunday.
I'm so happy you are here.
I am in California, and we are (celebrating?) having Daylight Savings today -- so when I woke up at 7:30 this morning it was really 6:30.
Yesterday I read an article in the New York Times about what to do with the "extra" hour -- and
I decided I was going to do take an extra long morning walk with Sheldon and then take a bath.
Adam is going to Home Depot.
We will both be doing
things that make us happy!
:-)
What about you?
Fall is such a great time for self-reflection. If I can, I'd like to give you an assignment as we head towards the super busy holiday months.
Slow Down.
Use this "extra time" to Pause.
Listen to your body and “fall back” and take a beat
when you find yourself tensing up or not being all that pleased about a certain person or situation.
What is your body trying to tell you?
What can you learn?
Living in constant “fight or flight” mode isn’t healthy.
Your body is trying to keep you
safe and at homeostasis. Chose calm and peaceful on purpose.
That’s your baseline.
So when stuff comes up that doesn’t feel
good/correct, take time to process and respond instead of react.
consider yourself loved and hugged.
I think you are wonderful.
xoxo steph
