Hello there , and welcome to another edition of the Sunday Slow Down.
This is the one-year mark of the beginning of the Slow Living Podcast and the start of this weekly newsletter.
I am so glad that you are here.
This week's newsletter is about being consistent -- even when you don't really want to.
Because we are not robots. It's wonderful to make grand resolutions and decide to take on a new task, hobby, or endeavor but it's something else to just Keep Going --
especially when you are tired, worn-out, defeated, and broken down.
So how do you do that?
How do you honor the commitments you've made to
yourself?
(PS: I'm only talking about commitments you've made to yourself, here --- the commitments you've made to other people are much easier to keep)
How do you keep moving forward when you just don't feel like it?
First off, while
grand gestures are AWESOME -- part of living a Slow Life is taking the time to decide what it is you really (really) want --
and then make a plan to get there -- one baby step at a time.
Trust in yourself and trust in your future that you will be more fulfilled and proud of yourself if you just keep doing whatever it is that you said you were going to do.
over and over again.
If you need help with this, reach out to me. I've been coaching for a few years now, and I'm really good at being another pair of "eyes" on your brain. Together we can uncover whatever the thing is that is holding you back
--
Consider yourself loved and
hugged. I think you are wonderful.
