Good morning pretty people, and Happy Sunday.
Unless you are in another timezone and it's not morning and it's not Sunday.
Then Good whatever-it-is-whereever-you-are
And? you are still pretty.
:-)
This past week I had a dreadful cold. It wasn't Covid, and honestly, I kept testing because supposedly I've never had Covid, but this cold was such a doozy I was CERTAIN I finally had Covid.
4 tests proved otherwise which means I'm really just a huge wuss.
(PS: the jury is still out --- because I honestly DO THINK I had Covid in Feb of 2020 because I was terribly sick with a high fever, but Covid wasn't supposed to be in the SF Bay Area until March.
#debatable)
ANYWAYS.
I am only just now starting to feel better and get some of my energy back.
Last
night's sleep stunk to high heaven, though, because my college-aged kiddo is home which means that she is up and going out and I can't sleep unless I know everybody is home safely --
(parenting teenagers pro-tip: unearth the old-school baby monitor and set it up by the front door so even if you are sound asleep you can
hear the key in the door and the arrival home)
BUT. These are the facts:
15 days until Halloween
39 days until Thanksgiving
63 days until Hanukkah
70 days until Christmas
77 days until
2023
and in order to get the stuff done that needs to get done I still have to do things.

This week's podcast episode is about Doing the Bare Minimum --
I think you'll like it.
Unfortunately, no one is swooping in to come to the rescue. No prince charming, no fairy godmother, and no Mr. Bevedere.
It just is what it is.
and if you've got a plan in place, you will continue making forward progress even when you have a doozy of a cold and accidentally watch 1.5 seasons of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and then go down a rabbit hole on how one of them is indicted for fraud.
;-)
Consider yourself loved and hugged. I think you are wonderful.
