Happy Friday, Slow Cookerers!!

I've been fielding some questions lately about inflation and the price of groceries.

I know things are higher than they used to be -- it stinks.

I do not have all the answers, but I do know that making food at home will always be less expensive than ordering take out or going to a restaurant.

If you are looking for ways to cook dried beans, use bones to make broth, make baby food at home, make yogurt, etc. -- this article will hopefully help.

In the meantime -- we have been eating A LOT OF SOUP lately.

I like having soup bubbling away because it makes the house smell so yummy and cozy and because it can be quite filling without a ton of calories and it doesn't break the bank.

Here are some of our favorites:
