Hi there Slow Cookerers and happy Wednesday!!
I hope you enjoyed your 3-day weekend.
I truly did. I was unplugged --
EXCEPT for my crockpot.
:-)
One of the reasons I love my crockpot so much is because at my core, I'm awfully lazy.
When my kiddos were young, I found that it was really difficult for me to think of new dinner ideas. I'm not
sure about your kids, but mine seemed to always be wanting food all the time.
So for me, plopping food into this magical machine and then pushing a button was just such a no-brainer way to feed them.
It turns out, I'm not alone in this --
Delinda, a longtime reader, wrote to me this past week and shared how cooking for her family of 6 is so much easier once she began implementing the meal plans and grocery lists:

Hi Steph,
I hope this message finds you well. I've been meaning to tell you how the meal
plans have made life so much easier!
Each week, I sit down with the family and go over the calendar and see which nights are busy with school plans, sports , etc. Once I know our week, I pick out a meal plan and makechanges to fit our taste and allergies (one son has nuts, other has dairy).
Then, I plug the shopping list into my grocery
app and schedule delivery. The night before or the morning of, I plop into the crockpot.
We are saving time and money, but I think this might even be saving my sanity! I don't even grocery shop any more!
Thanks again
