Hello to all the slow cookerers out there!
I hope you are doing well.
Things have been a bit hectic the past few days with WAAAAAY too many things on the calendar and not as much time to breathe deeply and enjoy the daily nuances.

SO.
One of the ways to keep everybody in the house happy with complete meals that are ready when WE are --- not when a timer goes off ---
is to make Layered Dinners.
I've got two great ideas for you -- you can mix and
match however you'd like and if you would prefer to use different veggies or meat, go for it.
But these two recipes will give you the stepping stones you need to create your OWN version of a Layered Dinner for your own particular family.
PS: Don't want to use foil? Don't, then!! Use Parchment paper instead!!
I have two pretty easy recipes linked down below --
but honestly you can use this simple idea to make whatever it is that makes your family happy.
If you know that everyone
really (really!) likes Teriyaki flavored stuff, then season your meat of choice with that.
Bottled is always okay, but a down-and-dirty teriyaki can easily be made by using equal parts soy sauce and brown sugar with a touch of water to thin it down.
easy-peasy.
