Happy Tuesday, Slow Cookerers!!
Let's talk sweet potatoes.
we eat A LOT of them in my family.
I've got three kids, and while they are pretty much the best kids in the history of the universe (except for the
ones in YOUR house, of course.... ;-) )
getting them to eat vegetables can sometimes be a bit of a challenge.
This is why I love sweet potatoes so much.
The natural flavor is so delicious all on it's own, there is really no reason to drown them in lots of sauces or seasonings or cheese or
sugar.
Also? Since it's a hearty root, it really stands up nicely in the slow cooker.
