Hello there, Slow Cookerers!
I hope you are enjoying your week so far. It's Spring Break in our household, which means I'm going to step away from the computer a bit so I can soak up as much of these kids as possible.
Also, it's terribly difficult to type right now. I seem to have sliced my knuckle off opening a package of shrink-wrapped salmon with a knife instead of a pair of scissors.
:-(
I'm left handed, and the past few days of not being able to use my dominant hand has been tricky. I was able to get my rings off right away, thankfully.
I talked myself out of going to the ER, which meant that when I finally did go in, I was too late for stitches. (evidently you need to go within 12 hours (preferably 6), or your skin kind of dies...)
The Dr. glued and butterflied my knuckle and said that I can now cross "hand model" off of my possible career list.
Just like that! A whole career path taken away!! ;-)
Hopefully you are doing better and have all your fingers in use this week!
