It was a good trade-off.

I'd like to invite you to listen in/watch an online summit I participated in a few weeks ago that will be airing in a week or two.
It's free, and you can sign up to access all of the materials, and see the speaker line up, here:
This isn't something I've done before, and I'm a bit outside of my comfort zone. Usually I talk about All Things Slow Cooking and Meal Planning and CrockPotting ----
but Heather Rider, who is leading the summit, tracked me down online through my "Slow Living" books and writing.
I immediately hit it off with Heather when we chatted on the phone over the summertime -- she is calm and wise and thoughtful and full of joy.
I'm quite humbled and happy to be thought of and to be included in her speaker series, and I hope you can join in so I can have some cheerleaders in my corner.
:-)
My Slow Living talk airs on October 28, which I didn't pick, but it happens to be a pretty significant date. It was/is my grandpa's birthday and it's also my cousin's wedding anniversary date ----
This means it's a sign from the Universe, right??
;-)
