It's Spring Break -- taking some time off

Monday ---

Hello there, Slow Cookerers and the most wonderful people in the history of the internet!

I hope you are doing well.

I've got a week off of work and the kids have a week off of school -- so I'm going to step away from the computer and soak up every last bitty bit of them as I can --

(LOL. just typing that reminded me of Gargamel from the Smurfs --- remember how he used to rub the smurfs up to his face to "rub off their essence?")

weird and creepy. but also I'm okay smooshing my own kids up and trying to soak them in as much as I can?

Huh. I may need to go to talk to someone about that.

I am working with a site re-designer and updating "the brand"

(which honestly makes me feel like a cow on a ranch, but evidently that is what it's called, and no super hot metal is involved!

because while I'm always going to be known for my Slow Cooker recipes, I'm interested in writing about *other* things too --- but I want to keep you all happy.
