My New Book -- The Mommy Blogger Next Door: Real Moms Making Real Money Blogging At Home, in their Pajamas
Published: Tue, 01/13/15
Hello there! This email does not contain a crockpot recipe. I'm sorry. I
did want to share with you, though, that over the holiday break I worked on a new book and corresponding ebook on blogging, and how I got started with my A Year of Slow Cooking website. This is a book that has been floating around in my brain for a few years, and I wanted to be able to share my own story on how and why I started blogging and how I somehow turned the silly idea to use a crockpot every day for a year into an
actual career. It's certainly not something I imagined I'd be doing "when I grew up"! This new book is now available for sale on Amazon. Here is the direct sales page, if you are
interested! I'm proud of this book, and my hope is that it proves quite useful to those who are new to blogging or for those who might need a friendly nudge to get started. It's formatted as part memoir and part how-to. I wanted to create something that I wish I had when I was a brand new blogger. I wanted somebody
to tell me exactly what I should and shouldn't do, and I wanted somebody to reassure me that I could most certainly do it all on my own without spending a dime. Here's a bit of advance praise for the book: "I've met MANY bloggers in the past 7 years and I've seen
few that "blog fame" didn't change who I thought they were. Stephanie is as humble, trustworthy and kind as the day I met her online. She is one of the most successful bloggers I know who is all about helping others along the way. This book will motivate you, make you tear up and give you the real skinny on carving out a space that works for you in the big internet world! Not only will you connect with Stephanie, but you'll find her advice trustworthy and sound with a clear direction to start your new career." -- Kim Demmon, Today's Creative Blog "In this ebook, Stephanie O'Dea shares her inspiring story of how she got her start in blogging and built her highly-successful blog without spending any money out of pocket to do so. Her practical advice and spot-on tips will give you the confidence and tools you need to start your own mommy blog." -- Crystal Paine, Money Saving Mom As a thank you, I've attached a PDF link of the tools that I used (and continue) to use in my business. I hope they are helpful to you!I appreciate all
of your support throughout these past seven years of blogging and sharing slow cooker recipes. Thank you. Please let me know if I can be of help to you in any way in your blogging adventures. I'm happy to help, if I can. I hope 2015 is treating you well so far!! thank you again for your wonderfulness, steph |
