graduation, camping, potluck favorites, gluten free ebook

How did it get May 19th already?

I hope you and your family are well.

I'm getting ready for graduation season because ALL THREE of my girls are graduating this year. The "baby" from preschool, my middle girl from elementary, and my oldest is graduating middle school and will enter high school in the fall.

I'm not sure how this exactly happened since I've been 27 for the past ten years.

:-)

If you follow me on facebook (which you totally should!) you may have seen that I recently uploaded a gluten-free ebook onto Kindle in honor of Celiac Awareness Month.

The idea was for this ebook to live on for no cost online, but I forgot that Amazon is in the money-making-business. The lowest I could price it was 99cents, but this week they are running a giveaway promotion.

YAY!

If you don't have a Kindle, or would prefer a PDF version, email me back (just hit reply if you'd like) and I'll send over a PDF.

I've wanted to put together an ebook like this for a while -- I get a lot of questions from newly gluten-free people, and thought it would be helpful to write all the things that are floating around in my head into one document instead of rewriting the same list in an email. :-)

I'm most certainly not an expert about this -- I've just tried to share the things I've learned through trial and error since my middle child was diagnosed with Celiac in late 2006.

My suggestions are in no way meant to diagnose, treat, or persuade anyone to do anything. Ever. I'm just sharing in a way I would if we met for coffee.

;-)

In OTHER NEWS....

I've been hard at work planning our family camping trip this summer. And yes, the crockpots come along for the ride!

I didn't always like camping. I much preferred hotels or motels with maid service and a restaurant and clean towels.
And then I had kids. Don't get me wrong, I still love maid service and clean towels, but I hate spending lots of money and I hate having to get kids to sit still and have "restaurant behavior" when we are on a long trip.
