Happy Halloween, slow-cookerers!
I am absolutely thrilled that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. It's always hectic figuring out dinner, pumpkin carving, and trick
or treating on a busy work and school night.
Don't forget to use your slow cooker this weekend. This way you can have dinner hot and ready to go before you head out the door so there's a bit of something wholesome in the belly to soak up all the sugar.
This year my grandma has requested Pasta Fagioli and cornbread. Easy-peasy!
The kids have asked that we stick to "tradition" and make a batch of Witch's Brew.
It's
most certainly not wholesome or sugar free, but it's fun and creates a nice ring of green gook on everything it touches.
:-)
and whatever. It's Halloween.
next year maybe they'll dress
up as dentists.
