Hello there, Slow Cookerers!!

Let's talk Meatloaf and Stuffed Peppers.

We're talking about them at the same time because they are basically the same thing -- and it's a super easy way to turn a pound or so of lean meat into a phenomenal dinner.

Unless you'd prefer to keep things vegetarian.

then you probably want to steer clear of the ground meat....

Here are a few of our favorite recipes --- what is awesome is that once you get the basic feel for the recipe(s) --- you really can put your own twist on things.

Want more veggies? Add them! Want a spicy touch? Add red chili flakes, or diced jalapeños!

Don't like ketchup? Use A-1 or Buffalo Wing Sauce!

can easily be made vegan, too!
If you have a favorite way to make meatloaf, let me know -- it seems as if each time I assemble one it's slightly different, which is what makes cooking fun!

I truly do look at the slow cooker as an easy-bake oven for grownups ---

have fun! play!
