Stuff You Didn't Know You Could Make in the Crock Pot

Happy Tuesday, Slow Cookerers!!

I hope your week has started off nicely.

I'm asked VERY OFTEN what is the strangest, most-surprising thing that I've made in the crockpot slow cooker.

I like to try new things and come up with new uses for the slow cooker -- and these are my absolute favorites.

It's not just a glorified pot roast machine! You can make SO much in the crockpot slow cooker!

I like to think of it as an "easy bake oven" for grownups.

Have fun! Play! Life is too short to follow all the rules, anyway! :-)

candles
shrinky dinks
hot dogs
yogurt
crayons
baby food
creme brulee
caramel apples
dulce de leche
tamales
playdough

Pretty awesome, right?

Anything I'm forgetting? What's your most "out of the crock" use for the slow cooker?

(PS: the dulce de leche is what you should make first. tonight. go -- seriously, RUN to the store and pick up a few cans of sweetened condensed milk and then make this awesome caramel pudding that you can eat with a spoon right out of the can and then email me to tell me how much you love me)
